Awesome Shoe Hacks. Have smelly shoes, blisters on your feet or squeaky shoes? Here are 8 tips and tricks.
For smelly shoes: Place teabags in them, or baking soda to absorb the odor. Another great way is to use those silica gel packets, many manufacturers add these desiccant packs to their new products to keep them fresh and moisture-free for the consumer.
For squeaky shoes: Dump some baby powder inside your shoes.
To avoid blister on your feet: Rub clear deodorant on the inside of your shoes, especially on the heels. Or apply lip bomb to your heels.
To clean suede shoes: Take a nail file and carefully scrape away the dirt. Or use a slice of bread to scrub off stains.
Cleaning tricks: Clean the white part of your sneakers with a toothbrush and toothpaste. You can also use a “Magic Eraser” to clean sneakers.
Shop for new shoes in the late afternoon or evening. Your feet will swell sightly in the afternoon, so shopping then will prevent you from buying too tight shoes.
To waterproof your shoes: Use a small candle or bee’s wax and rub it over the shoes. Then use a hairdryer to set the wax coating.
Use sandpaper on the bottom of new shoes, to give them more traction.
