Easiest German Chocolate Cake
- 1 (18.5 oz) chocolate cake mix, prepared according to package directions
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (14 oz) can caramel topping
- 1 (16 oz) container coconut pecan frosting
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Pour batter into baking dish.
Bake 28 to 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 5 minutes, then poke holes in top of cake using a wooden spoon handle.
In a medium bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping. Pour mixture slowly over cake while still warm.
Cover and refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight. Spread coconut pecan frosting container over cake, sprinkle top with pecans.
