Peaches For Stomach Flu. Try this remedy. It works!

With the stomach flu going around, try this if your children, spouse, relative, or you are throwing up.

Purchase a can of peaches in heavy syrup. Take a tablespoon of just the syrup every 15 minutes for an hour. If you get sick in between that hour, restart. First just the peach juice. Then if you keep that down, eat the peaches themselves and finally a piece of dry toast.

My husband thought I was crazy the first time he got sick around me and was throwing up so often he started throwing up. He finally tried the peach syrup and literally didn’t get sick anymore. Will also work when someone is taking chemotherapy.

Other remedies to try:

Jello Water also works. A friend told me she used to work at an oncology group where they gave chemotherapy treatments. Jello water helped with their nausea. When I get the flu or stomach bug, I always drink jello water. It is no accident that hospitals always serve jello, it works.

Ginger is widely used for reducing nausea. Studies have shown ginger to be effective in treating symptoms of nausea and vomiting caused by pregnancy and by chemotherapy. It has relatively few side effects and could be as effective as antisemitic drugs. Fresh ginger can be used in cooking or eaten on its own. Ginger can also be consumed as a tea.

Deep breaths taken at a slow and steady pace can help to ease feelings of nausea. It may help to engage in mindfulness meditation, which focuses on controlled breathing techniques.

Fresh air. Opening a window or going outside can help to reduce feelings of nausea.
